RMA Request

Please read instructions carefully, incorrect requests could cause delay.

  • Enter the required information to ship SEC product(s) which require repair service or are being returned for credit
  • Customers with terms accounts, include PO# in COMMENTS section on form. Otherwise payment will be made via COD unless specified by customer
  • Repair charges apply for product with expired or voided warranty
  • A restocking fee may apply for returned product
  • Once you request an RMA, SEC will contact you by email with your RMA number assignments for each item approved for shipment
  • Product repair service is provided at the SEC repair depot and SEC does not offer product advance exchange (quick turn whole unit replacement) service
  • 30 business days to service, and 3-4 additional days for return shipment
  • When you receive your RMA number(s), ship ONLY approved RMA product
  • Please note that you may be instructed to ship particular products to different SEC facilities
  • Use the exact shipping facility address provided on the RMA notification letter to ensure service is not delayed
  • SEC will NOT accept unauthorized packages, packages without clearly marked RMA numbers on the package, or packages shipped as billable to recipient.
  • Ship products in safe packing material and in suitable containers to avoid damage to products
  • Warranty repair service includes UPS Ground transportation back to customer location. Non-warranty repair service and/or all other means of shipment is billable to customer.
  • Shipping and service charges may apply for product(s) submitted for repair (including warranty product) whereby upon inspection exhibit no failure determined. Customers will be notified for applicable shipping and services charges prior to return shipment.
